Elasticsearch is a distributed, RESTful search and analytics engine [1] that can search across hundreds of terabytes of data. Full text search requires language specific analyzers and a mapping appropriate to index multi-language text. This paper investigates 3 approaches to index multi-language text and identifies the advantages of the multi-index approach.
